About:
Dagenham Christians Together works with churches and Christians across Dagenham to pray and work together for their local community in Dagenham. They provide relief from poverty and homelessness in the Borough and do this collectively through ’The Church Elm Hub’, which is based at the Dagenham Library. There is also a Community Food Club on Thursdays and Fridays 11am-1pm. (Self-referrals or agency referrals can be made through the LBBD website). Emergency food parcels also provided.
There is also a Clothes Bank as well as Wellbeing groups.
All services are provided free of charge.
Dagenham Christians Together partners with Barking Churches Unite especially in regard to a warehouse in Thames Road known as The Source Warehouse. From here we collect good quality furniture and white goods, in order to give it to those who are unable to afford furniture and white goods. Both these services are provided free of charge. We support residents with items such as beds, fridges, freezers, microwaves, kettles, tables, chairs, sofas, washing machines, crockery, wardrobes etc.
Dagenham Christians Together works closely with the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham.
