We are Early Years Cocoon CIC, an organisation that supports local families with children between 0-5 years old in Barking and Dagenham, offering free activities indoors and outdoors. Our activities focus on weekly, regular, family led play sessions that normally include: child-led play exploring different resources, arts/crafts, singing, parachute games, movement and story-time. It is a great opportunity for families to come together, socialise, play, ask questions and support each other. We also encourage parents to take initiative and lead activities, which is something that is coordinated by a facilitator. We are supported by grants, funding and the incredible partnerships we've been establishing since we started.
