Sycamore Trust UK is a charity based in Dagenham, very close to Becontree tube station. We support families and individuals for whom autism is part of daily life and also supports adults with learning disabilities. We provide a number of projects and services including youth clubs and social groups designed to improve social communication skills & boost self-esteem. We support young parents with LD through our award winning Parenting Pathways programme and CPD accredited Autism Awareness training is provided by our Autism Ambassadors.
Our ‘Speak With A Picture’ project helps pre-school children aged 2-4 and their parents communicate and there are very few questions that cannot be answered by our family services team. Our services are available to anyone residents in the London Boroughs of Barking & Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge. Our drop in unit in the Liberty Centre Romford – the Autism Hub – will re-open Tuesday to Friday each week, as soon as Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
