Following the Social Value workshop earlier this year hosted by BDGiving (see report here), BD_Collective has commissioned Julia Slay to bring together organisations across the borough and you are invited to an in-person workshop to explore how we:
- Develop/expand/enhance the social value advisory panel.
- Create a Social Value charter.
- Create a framework that the advisory panel can build on to:
- monitor the impact of Social Value locally.
- explore how residents could be engaged in the commissioning process.
This first workshop will be a working lunch on 5th December from 12noon – 1.45pm at Barking Enterprise Centre, 50 Cambridge Road, Barking IG11 8FG. During that time we hope to:
- Conduct a stocktake of the current approach to social value across the borough
- Share insights from outside LBBD on how social value processes have engaged a range of stakeholders
- Set some collective aspirations for this piece of work
