I’d like to let you know that Round 8 of Coop’s Local Community Fund (LCF) has now launched and applications should be submitted by Sunday 29th May 2022. As part of the Coop membership, Coop donate money towards good causes after each Coop member spends £1 on Coop products. Every year, applications open for community groups and organisations to apply and this year, the LCF will be assessing applications and supporting projects which meet one of the following aims:
Bring people together to access food
Help improve people’s mental wellbeing
Create opportunities for young people to be heard and make a difference
Help people protect biodiversity or tackle climate change by reducing carbon emissions
We would encourage you to share it with your networks within Barking for them all to apply, but please do ask them to read the terms and conditions when applying as this will determine their eligibility, which will help pass the shortlisting process.
