One of the developments within BD_Collective is a consortia approach to tackling some of the stubborn issues that lead to disadvantage within Barking & Dagenham. The focus of any consortium, is a commitment to explore how working together can lead to new innovative and approaches, pulling together the expertise of the organisations involved.

We have an exciting consortia opportunity focused on early help for families. It will be funded through the Start4Life funding (Department of Education) secured by Barking & Dagenham Council, the funding is for 1 year with possible one year extension. 7 delivery partners have joined the consortium and developed a plan together.

The Early Help Consortium Convener will be responsible to co-ordinate all aspects of this initiative and ensure the consortia demonstrates the BD_Collective values in all aspects of its work. More info in the attached candidate pack.
