The CBS Working Group will be integral in setting the foundation for BD_Collective’s next chapter. You’ll work alongside a diverse group of individuals to guide our governance model, membership strategy, and organisational priorities, helping to create a future that benefits the entire community.

 

 

 

What We’re Looking For

We are recruiting 6-8 individuals who:

  • Have at least 2 years of experience working within the Barking & Dagenham VCSE sector.
  • Hold an active role in the VCSE sector, either through paid or voluntary work.
  • Live and promote BD_Collective’s values of Community, Trust, Accountability, and Power Sharing.
  • Are familiar with membership-based organisations and governance models.
  • We may ask for references for individuals who can speak to your experience in the sector and your fit for this role.

What’s Involved?

  • Commitment: Working Group members will participate in twice-monthly meetings for the first three months, followed by monthly sessions. Meetings will last up to 1.5 hours.
  • Collaboration: Engage in both in-person and online working sessions, utilizing shared documents and communication tools like WhatsApp for ongoing collaboration.
  • Compensation: Members will be compensated for their time and expertise 
  • Outcome-Oriented: Help develop the CBS’s overall strategy, membership framework, onboarding materials, and recruitment plan for key roles.
