The Boathouse Studios is a modern, refined and versatile space that includes four vibrant, mood-lifting studios. With it's prime location, it makes it an ideal spot for artists, photographers, musicians,rehearsals, exhibitions, small-scale performances, community, corporate and families to work and create.

2024 is our tenth anniversary and we are excited to share lots of great events throughout the year to celebrate.

Situated on the water's edge at Barking Creek, the studios offer a calming view of the surrounding scenic beauty, providing inspiration and energy to everyone who walks through the door. The natural light that floods into the studios creates an unbeatable atmosphere, ensuring that all can work and celebrate in perfect lighting conditions all year round. The Boathouse Studios is also surrounded by stone’s throw from the beautiful Beckton Creekside Nature reserve.

As well as offering our studios for hire we have an exciting outreach and community engagement programme and particularly welcome building local collaborations for arts and community events. We love meeting people with ideas and helping them to realise them wherever possible.
