Womenion is a women-led, community charity in Barking & Dagenham that supports vulnerable women and survivors of domestic abuse to be safe, stable and financially independent. We provide consent-based one-to-one casework (risk/safety planning, housing, benefits, legal support or signposting), a fortnightly Women’s Club (peer support + practical help), Mums on a Mission (parenting/employability), and SURE STEPS Wellbeing (trauma-informed resilience and counselling).

We link children to positive activities with local partners. Our approach is confidential, culturally sensitive and relentlessly practical.
