Humourisk CIC draws together the talents and skills of local people and artists to create community-led projects that genuinely connect and empower local voices to build community leadership. We create inspiring initiatives to resonate with a wide reach of people particularly focused on those who are under-represented within local conversations and who may not have previously engaged with arts or community projects.

Humourisk also supports Shed Life, a resident-led project on the Thames View Estate. The Shed Life steering group have co-designed an accessible shed with University of East London Architecture students, which will be launched in September 2024 with a weekly activity programme led by residents.

Shed Life believe.. 'that everyone has the right to live a life that allows them to get on with LIFE; good health, independence, friendship, enjoyable social activities and new experiences’.
